In a conversation with students at the University of Shkodra , the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, stated this Thursday that the Special Prosecutor's Office has registered criminal proceedings for the " McGonigal" case , since January 2022. 

Dumani said that SPAK prosecutors and GJKKO judges depend on their integrity, but there are cases where you can be independent and flirt with politics.

"We don't have controlling relations from other institutions, but at the end of the day everything depends on the integrity of the prosecutor and judges. You can be independent but you can choose to flirt with power or politics", said Dumani.

The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani , stated today that the Prosecutor's Office is conducting comprehensive investigations, where even the country's highest officials are not excluded, while adding that there may be prosecutors who flirt with the government.
