The identity of the Albanian, who escaped an assassination attempt with firearms yesterday evening in Kato Ahaia , has been revealed .

He is Emil Backa , 43 years old from Tirana, but a resident of "Paleologu 8" street in the city of Ahaia, the victim of the assassination attempt has a criminal record for drug issues.

He was released from Koridhalo prison in March 2023 and there are suspicions that he still continues his criminal activity.

According to the police, he was shot 3 times with a pistol from a "Citroen" type vehicle with black windows, but only one bullet hit him in the body.

The 43-year-old was shot while he was outside the fence of his apartment.

As a result of the shooting, the 43-year-old was wounded in the waist, first he was transferred to the Kato Achaia Health Center and then to the Rio hospital to receive more specialized medical care.
