The Director General of the State Police, Ilir Proda, during the meeting with the new heads of police stations, requested maximum commitment at the head of the structures to dynamically follow up on the concerns and problems of citizens, and to respect their fundamental freedoms and rights.

He also requested maximum commitment to preventing and combating street crime that directly affects citizens, to preventing the cultivation of narcotic plants in open and closed environments and their distribution, gambling, environmental crimes, school safety, road safety, increasing the performance of police officers and that the ethics of communication with citizens is very essential.

"I am convinced that each of you will be up to the task you hold," added Proda.

While evaluating the process of selecting the chiefs of police stations and congratulating them on their duties, which he described not as a privilege, but as an obligation and responsibility for each of them, Proda conveyed to the chiefs of police stations a series of tasks and instructions to further improve the image of the Police, to increase security parameters and to achieve higher results in the fight against crime.
