Two 23-year-old citizens have been arrested by the Korça police after they raped striker Saleh Nasr, a footballer for the Skënderbeg team, on Thursday afternoon.
The two arrested men hit the Egyptian player in the head several times, causing serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The motives for this serious incident are still unknown.
Also, sources from the Korça police indicate that criminal proceedings have been initiated against 3 other people who accompanied the two arrested.
The official statement from the State Police is awaited.
