New details have emerged from the recent arrest of a young man in the Fresku area, where he was caught red-handed by police selling ammunition.

The young man is a citizen from Kosovo identified as  Dugagjin Berisha .

The Tirana Blues inform me that they have received information that Berisha would travel to Tirana and then to the Fresku area to sell pistols that had previously been seized.

For this situation, he has been kept under surveillance since crossing the Morin Border Crossing Point, where he entered the territory of Albania in a "Volkswagen" type car.

2 undercover agents, in order to uncover the full scheme, decided to buy Berisha 2 pistols in Fresk, to document his criminal activity.

The action was carried out to collect concrete evidence of weapons trafficking and to stop their distribution on the illegal market.

Preliminary investigations show that Berisha is suspected of having committed similar acts earlier, indicating a continuous activity of trafficking firearms towards the Tirana area.

The procedural materials and evidence collected were referred to the Prosecution for further action, while the Police continue investigations to identify others involved in the arms trafficking network.
