One victim and three injured, two of them in critical condition, due to a car accident this afternoon on the Pogradec-Lin national axis, in the area known as Pojskë.

It was a "Golf" vehicle with North Macedonian license plates that overtook in the wrong way, cutting off the path of a "Benz" vehicle in which a family from Korça was traveling.

The vehicles collided head-on, leaving three people injured and one dead. A mother and two children are among the injured, A2CNN reports. 

The victim is a woman who was in the vehicle with North Macedonian license plates, which was trapped for more than 20 minutes due to the strong impact. Despite the intervention of firefighters to cut the door, the extensive damage claimed her life.

The other injured are in the Pogradec hospital under the care of doctors and the possibility of transporting them to the Trauma Hospital will be considered.
