New details have come to light from the murder of Briken Sanaj, which happened the night before at Kodra e Diellit in Tirana. VoxNews learns that in 2010 the Sanaj family had a conflict with the Kola family due to the harassment of a girl. The conflict escalated and Briken Sanaj's younger brother injured one of the sons of the Kola family.

An enmity started between the families that, despite efforts to reconcile, did not materialize, the 39-year-old was initially in Lezhë where he attended his cousin's wedding.

When the wedding was over, they brought the bride to Tirana to the palace where she had been living for more than a year, when she got out of the car, she was shot dead from close range by a moving car.

The perpetrators' "Benz" car was burned after the incident in Qafë Kashar, while a Kalashnikov was found inside it, the car had license plates stolen just a few days ago in Tirana.
