A 57-year-old veterinarian by profession has turned the lawsuit against the prosecutor's office into a case, which she accuses of not properly investigating the officials who dismissed her from office by compiling falsified facts.

Sose Buçpapaj was an inspector at the AKU in Kukës until 2014 when she was dismissed, a matter for which she requested investigations against four of her superiors, but for 4 years the criminal file was circulated in the Prosecutor's Offices of Kukës, Tropoja, Kurbin and in Shkodër and in the end, the investigations against the officials were concluded with acquittals.

When the woman lost hope of getting justice even in Shkodra's appeal, she accused the next prosecutor, Elvin Gokaj, of abuse of office, a case that recently turned into a judicial odyssey. In the documents available to Top Channel, the Court of Appeal in Tirana, which had requested additional investigative actions, decided to terminate the investigation against prosecutor Gokaj, adding that according to the law, the citizen can continue her search for justice in the Supreme Court.

The prosecutor for whom the lawsuit was filed currently holds the position of Special Prosecutor in SPAK. The appeals court tells the citizen that the prosecutor Gokaj had filed an appeal against the verdict of innocence given by the courts, but the case for the officials who fired him is still pending in the high court

The court further states that in the conditions when the prosecutor Gokaj was not the prosecutor of the investigation, but represented the charge in the appeal, he had no opportunity to destroy evidence./Tch
