Denunciation: Parents, beware of 'Big Market' and 'Lufra',
Denunciation of the journalist

Scandals regarding the quality of products sold in Albania are endless. The sale of expired food products in markets is one of the main problems, where in many cases the lives of citizens are also endangered. Recently, it was the journalist Andi Llabuti who denounced a flagrant case that happened to him during the weekend in "Big Market". In the message published on social networks, he states that the "Lufra" company is poisoning Albanians by selling spoiled milk.

The journalist says that he bought a can of 'Lufra' milk for his daughter at one of the 'Big Market' outlets, which had an expiry date of August 29, i.e. 5 days before the deadline, but it was spoiled. Llabuti calls on citizens to be vigilant as they can poison their children with expired and substandard products that are often sold in the 'Big Market'.

"On Saturday I have a day off and dedicate myself to my family, so I can't play the role of a journalist. Today, as a day off, I went down to the 'Big Market' and got a 1.4 liter can of milk. I opened the cap before giving it to my daughter, I look at the cap that read August 29, so 5 days before the deadline. I tried it, it didn't taste like milk or yogurt. I realized that I had bought spoiled milk. My eyes went completely dark, just as I went downstairs because my eyes went dark for my 8-month-old child, I almost poisoned him. I went downstairs and told the Big Market workers, this milk is spoiled. They told me what their expiration date is: I told them there are 5 days until it expires. This milk is 'Lufra' the most failed and degenerate company sold by degenerates. Dear parents, you have a very big task to do. Get the products and try them first, then your children. As long as you wanted to become parents then you should do this task. This time has come and you have no other choice", said journalist Andi Llabuti during the denunciation.

After the journalist's denunciation, citizens have also raised accusations of neglect of controls by the National Food Authority (AKU), who say that employees "close their eyes" when they receive bribes from business owners who often sell substandard products. One of the commentators in the journalist's video, tells the case of his son, who worked in a serious market and the AKU notified in advance about the inspection, they pretended to inspect and left with the crates of wine and soft drinks without doing any kind of inspection.

"My son worked in a serious food market where the AKU informed in advance about the inspection. They acted as if they were checking and left with crates of wine and hard drinks without doing any kind of inspection," the commenter wrote.

This is not the first time that Big Market has been denounced for selling substandard food products, where a few weeks ago ZŽRI published another case with 'ovital' eggs, which the customer found to be spoiled./ ZŽRI
