Snow on the National Road, Police appeal to drivers: Be careful while driving

The State Police appeals to drivers to be careful when driving on the National Road or on some other mountain roads in the country.

Through an official announcement, they are asked to equip themselves with snow chains and winter tires.

"As a result of the heavy snowfall on the National Road, in Bulqiza and in some other mountain roads of the country, the State Police appeals for increased caution for the drivers of vehicles and motorcycles, to be careful when moving, respect road signs, reduce speed, equip yourself with chains and winter tires, and follow the instructions of the Traffic Police services. Concessionaires and those contractors are on the ground on Rruga e Kombit and on other axes where there is snowfall and are continuing without interruption the work for clearing the roads from snow, for the distribution of salt. Until these moments, there is no road axis blocked. In case of need, call the toll-free number 112 and the Police services will immediately come to your aid", says the Police.
