The attack in Kosovo, the German MP: Russia's method. If Serbia stands behind them, the end of negotiations

The United States condemned Friday's attack on Zubin Potok. In a statement published by US Ambassador Jeffry Hovenier, it is said that the US strongly condemns the November 29 attack "on critical infrastructure in Kosovo that damaged a water channel, essential for the supply and operation of power plants".

"We are following the situation closely, we will support a comprehensive investigation and we have offered our full support to the Government of Kosovo to ensure that the perpetrators are identified and held accountable," the statement said.

The EU office in Kosovo also condemned the attack. "I condemn the attack on the water channel in Zubin Potok that is leaving a significant part of Kosovo without water supply", said in a reaction the head of the European Union office in Pristina, Aivo Orav.

Bundestag deputy Michael Roth drew parallels between last night's event and the methods used by the Russian army in Ukraine.

"These are Russian terrorist methods against a sovereign state in the heart of Europe. These attacks must be fully investigated. If Serbia stands behind them, which I hope is not the case, then this would be the end of EU negotiations with Serbia", wrote MP Roth.

France also condemned the attack and demanded that those responsible be brought to justice
