The chairman of the parliamentary group in the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, reacted today to Prime Minister Edi Rama's counseling campaign with the community of parents regarding the restriction of social networks, mainly TikTok.
Through a message on social networks, Bardhi emphasizes that "Rama is neither manager nor responsible for Tik-Tok and social networks".
According to Bardhi, Prime Minister Rama "has chosen to tell Albanians that social networks are to blame, phones are to blame, parents are to blame, orphans are to blame", adding that "the truth is that the degradation of education is the responsibility of Edi Rama's misgovernment ".
"Instead of contributing in this direction, Edi Rama is the only one responsible for offering children and young people the model of a trafficker and murderer as a deputy, the model of a gangster and criminal as a mayor, or the model of a thief as a minister", in 12 years. Bardhi writes, among other things.
From the "Janaq Kilica" school in Fier, Prime Minister Edi Rama emphasized the concerns regarding the impact of these platforms on children: "These are platforms that do not make any difference if you are a child or an adult and a child who is not sufficiently conscious to share his good from bad, to understand the consequences of one or the other, these platforms criminally stimulate. We live in a world that creates the same addiction that drugs create. Banning TikTok and Snapchat is not the solution, but it is one of the many elements of the solution, because none of these can remove the responsibility and weight of the interaction between the adults in the family and the children. Then the interaction between the family and the school and between the school and the family, and the road from school to home and from home to school, which are all important", declared Prime Minister Rama.
