Abandoned her baby, several months old, 40-year-old woman declared wanted

The state police announce that they have referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office and have declared citizen MD, 40 years old, a resident of Korça, wanted for committing the criminal offense of "Abandonment of minor children".

Official sources indicate that her baby, only a few months old, was abandoned about 4 days ago and left in the care of her mother, while her current location remains unclear.

The case was reported to the authorities by a social service worker from the Municipality of Korça. The police are working intensively to arrest the 40-year-old, while the child is at risk of being left without parental care, according to official data.
