Serious accident in Italy, a 34-year-old Albanian woman loses her life (NAME)

An Albanian woman was fatally hit by a car along state road 18, near a roundabout in Santa Cecilia, Eboli, Italy.

The victim is Xhulijana Guna, a 34-year-old Albanian, but long ago transferred to Eboli.

She was on the side of the road and was suddenly hit by a car driven by a 37-year-old woman, who dragged her across the asphalt to a bus stop.

The Albanian, unfortunately, passed away immediately after the crash.

The ambulance was called by other drivers. Carabinieri patrols arrived at the scene and determined that the woman was dead.

The driver of the car, after hitting the foreign woman, stopped to provide first aid. Her children were also with her, none of whom were injured.

The road accident occurred around 9 am yesterday and law enforcement, who arrived on state road 18, blocked the road to carry out the measurements and verifications necessary to reconstruct the dynamics of the fatal accident.

The car that hit the Albanian woman was seized.

The woman who was driving the vehicle is in a state of shock. Investigators must determine the causes of the accident and why the car hit the Albanian woman, who appears to have just crossed the road.

For the moment, it has been ruled out that the driver of the car suffered a sudden health condition and then hit the woman who lost her life. The speed of the vehicle at the time of the collision must also be verified.
