Cocaine in Tirana is being distributed almost openly.

Taxi drivers of some of the companies operating in Tirana have now become the main distributors of cocaine.

The drivers of the companies 'Blue Taxi', 'Lux', 'King Taxi' and 'Smart Taxi' have turned into middlemen of cocaine traffic, but also of prostitution, according to an investigation by the "Zeri" portal.

An excerpt from the documentary of the " Zeri " portal:

"To get to the bottom of the reality in this network of taxis that serve as drug couriers and prostitution brokers, ZŽRI infiltrated an associate, who for 3 months was the ideal client of this group. Drivers who sell and drink drugs. Then they hit the road again to catch the next customer and do other roads, with one goal, to make money, lots of money.

The associate starts the mission with one of the drivers of the LUX taxi network in the capital, one of the leading companies in the market.

The taxi driver not only knows about selling cocaine, but he shows how the network works where customers who want cocaine can also pick up sex workers and take them to special hotels that work like a trinomial. The client takes the taxi, asks for cocaine and a woman, and the taxi in return takes him to the corresponding hotel and gives him the drug. Our associate rode with him and the taxi driver not only found and brokered the sale of cocaine but also consumed it himself.

Our infiltrator asks for more... The same taxi driver, the second day the accomplice called him, the first thing he talks about and asks for is cocaine.

At this moment, the taxi driver orders the cocaine by text to the distributor in the Kashari area and then calls him. The infiltrator and the taxi go to get the drugs. As you can see, it is the driver of the LUX taxi company who gets out of the company car in a hurry and takes the drugs to sell to the associate. At this moment, the drug is also exchanged between them. The taxi driver, after having once consumed the cocaine he sold to his co-worker, asks for drugs again, while telling how he drank drugs and alcohol during work hours.

Our colleague continued his dangerous adventure this time with one of the girl drivers of Blue Taxi, who was showing how this company, one of the youngest in the market, operates cars completely without a license. She even brags about how the unlicensed car gives the police a hard time.

Next, our colleague decided to try a taxi of the Blue company, for a ride around the city. The phenomenon is so massive that as soon as the infiltrator opens his mouth to ask for something, the answer he gets is "cocaine".

Without wasting time, this taxi driver calls his fellow dealer and heads to his drug base located behind the "Grand" in Astir. Having no problem at all, the Blue Taxi driver takes the distributor in the car and negotiates the deal for the dose of cocaine.

By dropping the distributor, this taxi driver shows how the criminal network he is part of works. With a hearty greeting, our associate concludes the investigation with the Blue Taxi company, thinking that the market of other companies would probably be safer. But one ride with 2 of the King Taxi drivers was enough to see how cocaine is one of the main customer services. The infiltrator enters King Taxi and, after a brief introduction, asks the KING taxi driver for cocaine.

Upon confirmation that the delivery man was coming, the infiltrator discovers that the taxi driver didn't have it the first time. He was the guarantor of the quality of this group's cocaine. At this moment, the distributor enters the car and asks to take the drugs to his house on Rruga e Elbasani. At this point, the dispatcher becomes paranoid and warns the taxi driver that if the Police come, the two are not related to each other. In a sophisticated way, the distributor teaches the taxi driver to open his wing and if the police come, pretend that he was stopped there and has nothing to do with him.

The dealer runs off to get the drugs, and just like in any company, King sells cocaine and doesn't ask about the rules set for cigarettes.

At this moment, the distributor calls the taxi driver to tell him that the quality of the goods is high.

Another King Taxi driver turns out to have a base where he can get cocaine. At 7:30, the associate picked up King's cab driver again, but he stated that the delivery driver was not available that day.

In the former Block area, our associate took a Smart Taxi to ask for the same thing as the other 3 companies. After confirming it on the phone, the next day Smart's taxi driver announces that he has found the drugs and is ready to make the exchange. A shocking reality for which it seems that the institutions are far from control and verification.
