Tirana entrances blocked, traffic kilometers to Vora! Police appeal to drivers: Use alternative routes

A severe traffic situation was recorded today on the secondary axis Vorë-Maminas, as a result of the blockage of a segment of the highway connecting these two areas.

Traffic is mainly concentrated on the secondary road, where an uninterrupted line of vehicles has been created starting from the Budulla intersection (near Fushë-Krujë) and ending in the Maminas area.

The convoy of vehicles is estimated to be over 15 kilometers long. Meanwhile, police are urging drivers to use alternative routes.

Police Announcement:

Due to the temporary closure of the Tirana-Durres highway, for work reasons, announced on 10.10.2025, by the Albanian Road Authority, heavy traffic has been created in several areas within the capital, as well as at its entrance and exit.

Traffic Police Services and General Patrols are located at every intersection and main road segment, with the aim of managing and facilitating traffic.

Tirana Police appeals to drivers to show patience, respect road signs and instructions from Police officers, and use alternative routes to avoid traffic delays.
