27-year-old man violently robbed in Vora, perpetrators arrested

Two people have been arrested after violently robbing a 27-year-old man in the village of Marikaj, Vora.

Citizens FS, 26 years old, and G. Sh., 30 years old, were arrested after they forcibly took three phones and an amount of 5,300 euros from the 27-year-old.

During a search of the apartment of one of the perpetrators, firearms were found and seized.

Police Announcement:

A 27-year-old man was forcibly robbed of a sum of money and 3 cell phones on the street. 2 citizens were identified, arrested and handcuffed.

A 24-year-old woman is being prosecuted for failing to report a crime.

2 firearm magazines, 1 pair of handcuffs, 1 cold weapon and 3 stolen cell phones were found and seized in the apartment of one of the arrested.

The services of the Police Commissariat No. 7, immediately after receiving the notification that a citizen had been robbed of a sum of money by force, organized the work to solve the theft, identify and capture the perpetrators. As a result of the actions carried out within the framework of the police operation codenamed “Road”, the 2 suspected perpetrators of the case, citizens FS, 26 years old, and G. Sh., 30 years old, residents of Vora, were located in an abandoned apartment, captured and handcuffed.

Also, in this case, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated against citizen EP, 24 years old, for the criminal offense of "Failure to report a crime".

The investigation suspects that citizens FS and G. Sh., on the road to the village of Marikaj, in the evening, forcibly took 5,300 euros and 3 cell phones from a citizen.

During the search of the apartment of citizen FS, in Vora, the Police services found and seized as material evidence: 2 model 56 automatic firearm magazines, a pair of handcuffs, a cutting tool (knife) and 3 stolen mobile phones.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Court of First Instance for further action.
