New details have been learned regarding the decision of the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana to suspend Nikoll Deda, who held the position of head of the Order of Dentists.

It is reported that he is accused of numerous financial abuses. A complaint was filed against him by the citizen AG in January of this year for financial abuses and manipulation of decision-making in the National Council of the institution since 2016.

In the announcement it is emphasized that "Furthermore, the employment of the fiancees of his sons in the Order of the Dentist, or the children of the members of the National Council are simply indicators of the personalization of the "Order of the Dentist" by the ND citizen, creating a climate of private ownership of this public entity".

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Tirana requested "Suspension of the exercise of duty for the ND citizen, President of the Order of Dentists, as he is suspected of having committed the criminal offense of "Abuse of Duty" provided for by Article 248 of the Criminal Code.

From the investigation, within the framework of criminal proceedings no. 1630/2023, for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", provided by article 248 of the Criminal Code, it resulted that there is a reasonable suspicion based on evidence that the ND citizen has committed the criminal offense provided for by article 248 of the Penal Code.

The AG citizen reported on 18.01.2023, the ND citizen, for financial abuse and manipulation of the National Council's decision-making dating back to 2016.

The complainant stated that even though by the decision of the Administrative Court on 07.02.2020 it was decided to secure the lawsuit for decisions No. 16 and 18, dated 07.11.2019, the citizen Nikolla Deda, in the capacity of the President of the Order of Dentists, continued illegal with the meeting of the National Council and the Assembly, where he made dubious decisions of a financial nature, as well as employed family members of members of the National Council and his own family.

According to him, on 21.09.2020 it was decided to purchase a building, in accordance with the Order of the Dentist, with an area of ​​350 m2, in the value of 700,000 euros. As long as there is a 2020 lawsuit insurance decision, the US National Council should not make such decisions with such a high economic impact.

Also, the National Council has approved obtaining a loan from a bank in the amount of 250,000 euros for the purpose of "purchasing premises", for which the decision was taken by the President of the Republic of Moldova.

From the investigations, it turned out that with his actions/inactions, the ND citizen has created a "climate of private possession" by concentrating in his hands the functions of the regional councils, either in terms of administering the budget of the dentist's order at the district level, or in terms of pertains to the licensed equipment of dentists for individual practice of the profession. Moreover, the employment of his sons' fiancees in the Order of Dentists, or the children of members of the National Council are simply indicators of the personalization of the "Order of Dentists" by the ND citizen, creating a climate of private possession of this public entity. Despite the fact that he was taken as a defendant and is currently in court proceedings accused of Article 320 of the Criminal Code, in another criminal proceeding, he has taken active actions in abuse of office for further concentration of powers in his hands by using the structures of the USSH -'s.
