The fire continues on Chika mountain on the fifth day.

The two planes that arrived from Thessaloniki could not extinguish the fire yesterday.

It is learned that the planes have managed to extinguish only a part, while according to the information they will return again today to continue extinguishing the fire in an area which is almost downhill and there is no possibility to intervene from the ground.

So far, about 70 hectares have been burned by the fire in Chika mountain.
