Tirana police responded after the arrest of former KLA member Dritan Goxhaj.

Police say that for his arrest with the purpose of extradition as well as for the control of his apartment, there was a decision of the Tirana First Instance Court.

Quite was arrested at the request of the Special Prosecution in Kosovo, which accuses him of leaking the names of witnesses in several court proceedings.

Police announcement:

Specialists of the Section for Serious Crime Investigation against persons in the Local Police Directorate of Tirana executed the decision dated 20.07.2023, of the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, which has decided the allowance of physical control and residence of citizen D. G., as well as the determination of the personal security measure "Arrest in prison", for the purpose of extradition to D. G., 45 years old, born in Fier and resident in Tirana.

The procedurale materials were passed to the Prosecution office at the Court of first instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana.
