Accused of murder in Italy, 30-year-old with two surnames arrested in Fier!

Police have arrested 30-year-old  Dhimitraq Xhoku alias Hoxhara , who is accused of murdering a person in Italy.

The young man, a resident of Levan, was placed in handcuffs during the police operation codenamed " Palermo ".

The Palermo Court has imposed the security measure "arrest in prison" on him by decision dated August 12, 2024, for the criminal offenses of "Intentional Murder", "Injury" and "Unlicensed Possession of a Weapon".

30-year-old Dhimitraq Xhoku alias Hoxhara is suspected of having, in collaboration with other citizens, on June 4, 2023, shot dead in Sicily, the citizen with the initials SR and injured another citizen.

Police announcement:

Following the checks carried out based on police intelligence, to locate and capture the wanted citizens, the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector at the Fier Police Department, as a result of the exchange of information with Interpol Tirana, have finalized the police operation codenamed "Palermo", during which the internationally wanted citizen was captured:

Dh. Xh. (H)., 30 years old, resident of Levan.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Rome, after the Court of Palermo, Italy, with the decision dated 12.08.2024, has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses of "Intentional Murder", "Injury" and "Unlicensed Possession of a Weapon".

The 30-year-old, in collaboration with other citizens, on 04.06.2023, shot and killed citizen SR in Sicily and injured another citizen.
