Serious accident with 7 injured in Italy, bus collides with footballer

A serious accident occurred on the Palermo-Catania highway in Italy this afternoon.

According to Italian media, seven people were injured in the accident, two of whom were in critical condition. They have been transported by helicopter to catania hospital.

According to preliminary information, a bus with young footballers was involved in the accident. The driver, for unclear reasons, lost control and collided with the side barriers.

The accident caused a mileage row due to the closure of the highway.
