The Special Appeal dismisses Jamarbër Malltez's request for the termination of the security measure "house arrest", imposed on him by the same court in November 2023.

The decision was announced at this Friday's session at 10:30 by the judge in the case, Engert Pëllumbi, who on January 3 set a "compulsory appearance" for Sali Berisha.

Both Berisha and Malltezi are being investigated by SPAK for the privatization file of the former Partizani sports complex, a file that went to court a few months ago and a decision is expected regarding its passage to trial.

Malltezi is accused of committing the criminal offenses of active corruption and money laundering, while Berisha is accused of passive corruption.
