The Special Court has decided to return the case against Democratic MP Asllan Dogjani , who is accused of concealing and failing to declare assets, to SPAK for investigation.

The GJKKO has given SPAK two months to complete the investigations.

We recall that according to SPAK, Dogjani made a false declaration regarding the benefit of an apartment.

On March 24, 2010, in the declaration of private interests before starting his duties at the HIDACCI, he declared that he had received a residential apartment with an area of ​​128.4 m2, located on "Hamid Shijaku" street in Tirana, from the construction company "Protial", in exchange for legal consultancy that he had provided and would provide in the future.

In support of this statement, he presented the contract, which the defendant relied on again in the statement dated June 16, 2023, after his election as a deputy in the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, says SPAK.

Among other things, the Special Prosecution Office informs that contrary to the statements made, the investigations of this criminal proceeding showed that Dogjani became the owner of the aforementioned apartment, in which it was predicted that the value of the apartment would be 121,980 euros, an amount which the defendant liquidated to the company, through cash payments.
