The show "Uniko" covered the story of the Velipoja massacre on June 27, 2021, when 4 people were killed and 2 others were injured.

The parents of the brothers Edmond and Xhovani Gocaj, who were killed in the armed conflict over the division of areas for setting up tents on the beach, spoke on the show. The crime happened in the Gocaj family hotel in Velipoja.

After a long time, the parents entered their hotel room where the boys were staying. Their suitcases, clothes and belongings have remained immobile since June 2021 when the incident happened.

Even the Gocaj family hotel has been closed since that time. The two parents no longer continue the hotel business. The business is locked.

"They killed my two sons for 10 meters of umbrellas," says the mother of the Gocaj brothers through tears.

The conflict at that time started with the Verracaku family, who also own a hotel in Velipoja.

The latter had gone to the Gocaj family hotel, located a few meters from their business, to clarify the division of plots on the beach. But the fight escalated into the use of weapons and the two brothers Edmond and Xhovani Gocaj and their waiter Myzerim Zeneli were killed.

On the other hand, Kujtim Verracaku was killed and Hasan Verracaku and Elmilind Dyli were injured.
