The murder of 68-year-old Frederik Radi in Lajthiza of Mirdita continues to remain without a perpetrator. Over the course of 24 hours, more than 10 people, mostly residents of the village where the crime took place, were accompanied and interrogated by the police, but their testimony did not help the investigative team to solve the incident.

The suspicions are that the crime may have occurred due to a conflict that the victim may have had with a resident of the village over property issues, but it has not yet been possible to prove anything of the sort.

The 68-year-old man was found murdered on August 20 by his daughter in the apartment in Lajthiza, who was spending the summer months in his hometown. He was shot with a barrage of bullets from the window of the room where he was sleeping. Leonora Radi's daughter had lost contact with her father for 2 days and was heading towards Lajthizë village, but found him murdered.
