The Tirana court has issued 15 arrest warrants for 15 citizens, of which 9 Italian citizens and 6 Albanian citizens.

According to the court, these citizens deceived EU citizens through 15 call center entities, to make money transfers to Albania, with a total value of about 5 million euros.

The police operation coded "Transfer", as a result of a quarterly investigation, with special methods, developed by the Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, in DVP Tirana, in cooperation with the Tax Investigation, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Judicial District Court Tirana.

EU citizens were defrauded, through 15 call center entities, to make money transfers to Albania, with a total value of about 5 million euros, the Court sets security measures for 15 citizens, of which 9 Italian citizens and 6 Albanian citizens.

Specialists of the Sector for the Investigation of Economic-Financial Crimes, of the DVP Tirana, following successive operations to attack criminal activities carried out through call center entities, supported by information intelligence, in cooperation with the Tax Investigation, referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office near the Court of the Tirana Judicial District, which registered the criminal proceedings for the criminal offense "Cleaning the products of the criminal offense or criminal activity".

Based on the evidence provided by the quarterly investigation, with special methods, the Court of the Judicial District of Tirana, set the security measure "Arrest in prison", for 15 citizens, of which 9 Italian citizens and 6 Albanian citizens.

Në zbatim të vendimit të Gjykatës për ekzekutimin e masave të sigurisë, si rezultat i verifikimeve të kryera në sistemin TIMS, nga specialistët për Hetimin e Krimeve Ekonomiko-Financiare, të DVP Tiranë, ka rezultuar se 9 shtetasit italianë dhe 1 shtetas shqiptar, nuk ndodhen në Shqipëri.

Ndërkohë, nga kontrollet e kryera në banesat e shtetasve shqiptarë, ndaj të cilëve Gjykata e Tiranës ka caktuar masa sigurie, shërbimet e Policisë kapën dhe ndaluan shtetasin A. L., 30 vjeç, banues në Tiranë.
