An operating room worker heard on the phone the murder of a young Albanian man who was stabbed to death on a cannabis farm in Britain on December 4, 2021.

Xhovan Pepaj, 25, was stabbed 16 times by a gang who broke in to rob a cannabis farm run by their rivals, in a fortified flat in Kent.

According to what the Daily Mail writes , for the event, 6 people from Essex are on trial. Of them, 3 were found guilty of murder; Kelvin Amoako, 19, Ciaran Stewart, 19, and Bartosz Malawski, 28, and three others were convicted of manslaughter in a separate trial earlier this year in Loughborough. All were also convicted of conspiracy to rob.

The prosecutor of the case, Danny Moore, said that the young Albanian called the police and stayed on the phone for 14 minutes and 50 seconds, telling them what was happening.

"Besides the conversation, the operator could hear the things that were said by others and the noises. After listening to this recording, the conclusion is that violence is being used against Xhovan Pepaj. He is attacked to death during that call and Ciaran Stewart (one of the defendants) is heard saying that."

The prosecutor said the gang went to the house in question in several cars in the middle of the night, determined to steal the cannabis plants.

They entered the apartment at 03:24 and at this time, Pepaj first called his partners, who arrived about 10 minutes later. But according to the prosecutor, the group of Albanians who owned the cannabis farm did not manage to pass through the locked door, which was placed at the beginning of the stairs to protect their activity.

Pepaj meanwhile was trapped inside with Amoako, Stewart and Malawski. After beating the 25-year-old to death, the 3 suspected perpetrators jumped from a window and managed to escape both the Albanians and the police.

A few minutes later, Amoako sent a Snapchat message to a friend saying: "I just killed someone."

Then he called the police: "I fell asleep in a friend's car and the Albanians took me out, I ran for my life, I don't know where I am," he said.

The trial for the persons in question is expected to last for several weeks.
