20 fireplaces throughout Albania, Ministry of Defence: 6 extinguished, 14 active

According to data from the National Operational Center for Civil Emergencies, 20 fires have been identified in the entire territory of the country.

The Ministry of Defence says that thanks to the work of the operational forces on the ground, it was possible to isolate six of them, while 14 fires remain active.

In prespa National Park in Dry Mountain, work continues to extinguish the fire that develops in a difficult terrain and with easily flamable vegetation. The operation today engaged romanian C-27J Spartan aircraft, forces from the municipalities of Kuci, Pustec and the Regional Administration of Protected Areas.

The forces on the ground came to the aid of 103 armed forces and 10 vehicles.

In the village of Raja and Geghysen, in the municipality of Thessaly the fireplace has been isolated, but monitoring by municipal forces continues. It is not a risk of spread.

In the Bollotek Mountains near the River Gash the fire is active in the forests of ahu and black pine. Efforts to isolate the hearth that due to the terrain took on dimensions.

In the village of Trnovo, the municipality of Bulqizë has decreased the intensity of the fire, but monitoring continues. The fire is under control and poses no risk of spreading.

In the village of Luzni of The Hearth municipality of Debar, the hearth is isolated and is being kept under control by forces of the Regional Administration of Protected Areas.

In the village of Ujanik, in the municipality of Skrapar, fire is active due to the rocky terrain and slope, which makes it extremely difficult to intervene forces from the ground. The fire is being developed towards the "Holy Place", where a fire station is stationed.

Over the village of Sotirë, in Upper Dropull the fire is active but of low intensity. In support of the forces went 15 troops and 1 FA vehicle.

A fireplace towards the village of Sopik, the Pogon administrative unit, whose flames have arrived from Greek territory, is being monitored.

In sinanaj village, the fire, which has been put on a forest surface, poses no risk of spreading. Without danger, the fire is also presented in the village of Reshepaj, of the Municipality of Selenica.

At the site called "Blue Eye" in the village of Theth, of the municipality of Shkodra, operational forces are working to avoid the spread of fire.

At the site called "Gjuraj Mountain", in the municipality of Shkodra, the fire is developing on a forest surface in rutted and difficult to operate. The fire is being monitored by local structures of shkodra municipality. It is not a risk to the apartment.

The fire at the site, called "Stone of Undershtegut", in the village of Theth, is being monitored by operational and volunteer forces.

Under the coordination of the National Civil Defense Agency, the Armed Forces have reinforced the capacities of local government teams in the battle to isolate the fireplaces in difficult terrain.
