Fiks Fare denounced the attempts of several individuals and institutions to hide a serious event that occurred on March 30, 2026, in a bar in the Thumana area, in Kruja.

A 40-year-old man from Kurbini complained to the editorial office of the investigative show, saying that on that date he was in a nightclub, accompanied by several people. He was sitting at a table where a young man, according to him, named Petrit Shima was standing.

"I didn't know him before and there at the table the owner of the bar, Ismet Rryçi, called me. At one point the other people got up from the table and I got up too. Petriti told me to sit down, only you. I told him that the others got up and I was going to leave. At the moment I was leaving, the person in question took out his pistol and came after me. He tried to shoot me and someone grabbed his gun and a bullet went to the ceiling of the bar. Then he shot me with the butt of the pistol several times. I don't know why he was shooting me. I tried to shoot him too, but he hit me several more times and then the others separated us," the citizen claims.

He said that the person also shot him with a firearm. "There are traces there. Then he hit me several times with the butt of the pistol. He tore my ear, I have other injuries. I was in a state of trauma, aggravated and I was afraid for my life", he claims. He further adds that the owner of the bar, together with another person, took him to the Kruja Hospital. "I did not understand where I got into or where I went. I went there at 4.30 in the morning. They treated me with a gun until 5.30. I even have photos and videos during the time I was in the hospital", the citizen says.

He adds that no one at the hospital asked his name, they didn't register him, and no police officer went to ask him where he was injured.

"During this period, I was afraid for my life, because the person who hit me has a father who is a police officer in Kruja. The reason I turned to Fiksi is because they are trying to hide the incident. There were also security cameras in the bar. I want the incident to be investigated and solved, because the person tried to kill me, after pointing a gun at me," he concludes.

After the complaint, the citizen goes to the Kruja Hospital to see if they have recorded the date of the injury, the name, the diagnosis, the card and the injuries. He goes to the emergency room and is told that they do not have information, maybe the card is upstairs. Then he goes to the second floor to the surgery and is told that they do not provide information, he should go to the reception. He goes down one floor again and is told to go to the emergency room. “I’m leaving, it’s not your fault,” the citizen says and leaves the Kruja Hospital.

The Fiks Fare group is interested in the Kruja Hospital and meets an emergency doctor, who had a register of every person who presented himself to the emergency room. The journalists ask him for the names of March 30, 2026. He checks it and says that “I can’t find that name”. Fiks asks him who was the doctor on duty, and also finds the chart for March. It turns out that he himself was there on the 30th, but he says that “I didn’t treat him”. When asked whether the patient’s name should be registered, or the police should be notified where there are signs, he says that “yes, if there is damage, violence, trauma, the police should be notified”.

During this conversation, he talks to the director of the Kruja Hospital and changes his position. He now asks Fiksi to submit a written request and they will give us an answer. At the same time, the journalists call the director of the Kruja Hospital, asking for information and verification. "I can't verify it now, because I'm at the emergency room in Fushë Kruja, we had a case. It's not difficult to make a request. If the register is opened, we will verify it and give you an answer," the director insists several times.

Fiksi tells him that it is so difficult for the directorate to send a person and verify whether the name is found or not, since the journalists' verifications showed that "the name was not there". "I can't tell you anything on the phone now. We are just talking nonsense. I request that we bring it in exactly, institutionally. Please, my phone is ringing, I will return the answer in writing, I will not return the answer on the phone" he says and hangs up.

Fiksi also goes to the Kruja Police Station to ask if the Operations Room had any information from the hospital on March 30, 2026 or any information about the incident in the bar where a person was shot and even hit with a pistol. The police officer contacts the operations room and the officer replies that “no, there is no information about this name”. Fiksi Fare has learned that, after attempting to hide this incident, the citizen has filed a report at the Kurbin Police Station.
