The Anti-Terror Unit of the State Police is strengthening its operational capacities by equipping it with state-of-the-art American drones.

The news was announced by the American Embassy in Tirana, which emphasizes that these advanced tools, equipped with thermal imaging, will significantly increase the ability of law enforcement agencies for continuous monitoring, day and night, in order to protect borders and identify violent elements.

"The Anti-Terrorism Unit of the State Police is being equipped with the latest American-made drones. With thermal imaging technology, these drones can increase the State Police's ability to monitor situations day and night to protect borders and track violent elements ," the US embassy announced.
