The court hearing against Erion Veliaj has been postponed to October 13, at 10:00, after none of the defendants nor their defense attorneys appeared in court, pursuant to the decision of the Bar Council.

Present at the session was prosecutor Ols Dado, who requested that the lawyers be fined for failing to appear in court, as well as the suspension of the defendants' pre-trial detention terms.

After retiring to the deliberation room, the panel of judges headed by Judge Elsa Ulliri decided to fine the lawyers 50 thousand lek each.

The court also decided to suspend the pre-trial detention terms for the defendants.

The next session is scheduled for October 13, at 10:00 AM.
