After three months of investigation, Italian police have made two arrests in the murder of 55-year-old Albanian Mikel Rroku, whose body was found dead in his Turin apartment. The victim's wife and her new partner have been arrested.
The Carabinieri of the Turin Provincial Command executed in the early hours of Tuesday the arrest warrants for two suspects, a 45-year-old woman and her 52-year-old partner. Both are Italian citizens and are suspected of involvement in the murder of Rroku.
The 55-year-old's body was found on July 6 in his apartment on Via Verolegno, in the Lucento area of Turin. The victim was in an advanced state of decomposition and had severe head injuries.

The Italian woman and her boyfriend are suspected of murdering Mikel Rroku with a hammer.
It was the neighbors who notified the authorities, after a strong smell came from the apartment. After arriving at the apartment, the police began investigations to determine the circumstances of the death and the people who could be behind it.
The three-month investigation led to the identification of two suspects, against whom the court has ordered their arrest in prison.
Italian authorities are continuing their investigations to reconstruct the full dynamics of the event and to determine the role of each of those arrested./ RaiNews
