Albanian talent scores against Messi and takes the victory away from Inter Miami

Another Albanian player has left his mark in the American MLS championship, becoming the protagonist in the clash against Lionel Messi's Inter Miami.

Adri Mehmeti, just 17 years old, scored the 2-2 equalizer for New York Red Bulls in the 77th minute of the match.

This goal proved decisive in denying the team of stars like Messi, Suarez and De Paul the victory. For the Albanian midfielder, this was the first goal of the season, while after the first seven matches he has also registered two assists.

Mehmeti has a history with the youth teams, representing both Albania U-15 and the United States at the same age group.
