Silvinjo and Gjimshiti reveal what got them into trouble against England
Silvinjo and Gjimshiti

Albania coach Silvinjo analyzed the 2-0 loss to England. The red and black coach stated that the home team's second goal ended the match, while adding that it is difficult to penetrate a defense like England's.

According to him, the positive thing he can take from this match is the soul and heart given on the field.

"This is a difficult pitch. The second goal ended the game. We are disappointed, but I want to compliment the players. We had prepared the game like this. Uzun is fast and plays defensively. In the second half we also tried with Broja. Against England's players who are big, it is difficult to penetrate the defense.

The Albanian spirit, with its heart on the field, is the positive thing from this match. In the other matches we have to be in the game until the 70th minute.

"We need to talk to the doctors about Strakosha. Laçi has also suffered a blow and it is time to look at the players' condition," Silvinjo declared.

While team captain Berat Gjimshiti said that it was precisely the quality of the opponent that created great difficulties on the field.

"To be honest, it's too early to evaluate or analyze tactics, but I noticed that there was depth in a player like Bellingham, he touched a lot of balls, he got us into trouble, with one move he takes the entire defense out," said Gjimshiti.

He added that Armando Broja's entry into the game motivated the team, but everything was decided with the second goal.

"Especially from the 60th minute the players gained confidence, with the fresh entry of Broja, it gave us motivation..."

"I believe we still have time, it's only one match. Of course England is the favorite, we have to focus on the next match. We will analyze it of course, but we have to forget it as soon as possible and focus on the next match ," he concluded, referring to the match with Andorra on March 24.

Albania will play their next match against Andorra in Tirana, on Monday, March 24.
