What do you remember from the Barcelona Olympics?

"I don't forget when I entered the restaurant before the race and I couldn't eat anything. Just a green apple and a lemon so I don't drink water. I was biting the lemon to absorb the juice instead of drinking water. After the race, in the restaurant I took four discs from my gluttony and again I didn't eat anything, my stomach was closed. I only ate fruit and ice cream. At night, when everyone went to bed, I could not sleep because of the overload. I had gone to the bridges of the Olympic Village, which have now become restaurants, sat in a chair from 12 to 5 in the morning, next to an ice cream cooler, and ate 37 packets of chocolate. I remember two police officers looking at each other looking at all these papers down. I showed them the medal and they started screaming excitedly. We took pictures and they were very happy."

From Barcelona, ​​among other things, remained the expression "For Greece", which you heard say when you carried the weight on your shoulders. How did you experience that moment?

At that moment, I remembered everything on my shoulder, the war, and I said "For Greece", losing my breath, where I could have suffered, because the pressure was too great. I tried to lift the weight, but I lost the effort. I had gathered so much stubbornness and bitterness after what I had been through that I called out these words. How to say: I am Greek. What are you asking me and asking me again?"
