Inter have rejected a €20 million offer from a Premier League club for midfielder Kristjan Asllani.
This is according to Italian newspaper FCInterNews. They report that Inter continue to have full confidence in the 22-year-old Albanian.
Asllani has not always been active in Inter's starting eleven this season, remaining a reserve option.
Asllani joined Inter from Empoli in the summer of 2022 as a backup to Marcelo Brozovic. However, it was Hakan Calhanoglu who emerged as Inter's first choice midfielder.
Therefore, Asllani has been Calhanoglu's main reserve in the team.
Considering Calhanoglu's importance to the team, it has not been easy for Asllan to move the Turk out of the lineup.
And during a period this season where Calhanoglu was out with an injury, Asllani was also suffering from a problem.
Therefore, players like Nicolo Barella and Piotr Zielinski were forced to play in midfield in his place.
