Unusual incident in the ring, Russian boxer electrocuted while celebrating

An unusual incident occurred during a boxing event in Thailand, where a Russian MMA fighter experienced a dramatic moment while celebrating his victory.

Phuket hosted the fourth edition of VVEED Boxing, organized by Weed Boxing Championship, a promotion that is gaining more and more attention on the international stage. A total of eight fights took place on the evening, but one of them went viral for reasons no one could have imagined.

The protagonist of the moment was Ivan Parshikov, a Russian fighter with experience in some of the most well-known organizations such as ONE Championship, RCC and ACA. Parshikov entered the ring with a record of 21 professional fights, 16 wins and 5 losses, as he closed the duel with a convincing knockout victory.

The drama began after the match ended. During the victory celebration, Parshikov climbed onto the ring ropes to cheer on the audience, but when he touched a piece of the metal structure to maintain his balance, he was suddenly electrocuted.

The moment was so shocking that Parshikov was stunned and fell out of the ring. Fortunately, he immediately got to his feet, indicating that he had not suffered any serious injuries. In an even stranger twist, he immediately headed for the pool next to the ring and jumped into it, swimming in the opposite direction, a completely unusual way to end an evening of sports.
