VIDEO/ The famous ENGLISH striker hits a woman with a chair!
Kian Harratt

Oldham Athletic striker Kian Harratt has been involved in an unusual incident while on holiday in Ibiza, where footage has gone viral showing him throwing a chair that ends up hitting a woman in the face.

The incident happened near a swimming pool, where Harratt and his friends became involved in a fight with another group of British holidaymakers.

A witness said Harratt's group was behaving badly towards the women, throwing balls and provoking passersby, which led to the physical altercation.

After the incident received widespread attention, Harratt broke his silence in a statement to The Sun.

"A man approached my friend and wanted to punch him," the English striker initially said.

"I intervened and a chair was thrown in our direction. I picked it up and threw it back, I didn't mean to hit the woman. He's 1.98 meters tall," Kian added.

Meanwhile, other witnesses described the behaviour of Harratt's group as immature and provocative towards other holidaymakers. The club has yet to issue an official statement.
