Milan resumes with the return of coach Max Allegri. After the presentation press conference and the first open training session for fans at Milanello, the second era of the Livorno coach at the helm of the Devils has begun.
One of the most discussed topics in the red and black house after the new coach was made official is the way Allegri intends to use Portuguese Rafael Leao on the field.
Before the session, the two walked together along the promenade leading to the pitch where the session took place and both during training and during exercises, Allegri often approached the Portuguese footballer to give him instructions. A relationship that could become the foundation of the new Milan.

Allegri and Leao, frequent conversations in the first training session
During the training session, Massimiliano Allegri approached the Portuguese Leao several times to give him instructions, focusing on details such as the body's position towards the action that was taking place or towards the goal. The technician often shouted to him "open, open" during the 'challenge' of possession of the ball and in the close conversations between the two, the feeling of collaboration seemed already quite consolidated.
Allegri has always had a very strong bond with the technical leaders of his teams and his goal seems to be to make the player even more responsible, to turn him into a point of reference for his teammates. At every break in the session, Max approached the Portuguese to talk to him, between mainly technical dialogues and the occasional smile to ease his first day of 'real work'.

"In the head," the coach says at one point, and perhaps that's exactly where he wants to start again: Allegri is looking for a player who is always very focused and capable of reading all situations on the field, without relying solely on instinct and his undeniable technical skills.
"Leao will have a great season"
Massimiliano Allegri, during the press conference for his presentation as Milan coach, spoke about the Portuguese Leao: "I spoke to him this morning, I saw him well. I believe that now he can really enter adulthood. He is a good boy and I am sure he will have a great season with us."
