Asllani, the future in Spain: Betis knocks for the Albanian, Inter rejects the first offer

Not only Hakan Calhanoglu, the revolution in the Inter coaching staff could also include the national team midfielder Kristian Asllani. Arrived from Empoli in the summer of 2022 for around 15 million, the Albanian national team coach has never managed to convince, facing the weight of responsibility in a delicate role as Calha's deputy. The former Empoli player would like to have more space and his departure is not ruled out, with the Blues also ready for a possible farewell to Asllani.

The Albanian midfielder is on the market in Spain and – according to what As reports – is particularly liked by Betis Sevilla. The white and greens need a midfielder to replace Johnny Cardoso, who is expected to become a new Atletico Madrid player.

Asllani is not considered unsellable by the Blues and Betis' interest is concrete. At the moment, however, there is a gap between demand and offer: Inter values ??the player at 18-20 million euros, while the Spaniards would not want to spend more than 10 million.

Not only that, although optimism is filtering from Spain for the successful completion of the deal, the midfielder does not seem to have opened up about a destination for Betis.

Asllani has struggled to find space in his first two years at Inter. The Albanian has only made seven starts out of 29 appearances in the 22/23 season, while in the title-winning season he has made nine starts out of 31 appearances.

Last year, also due to some physical problems of Calhanoglu, Asllani's playing time increased significantly with the Albanian reaching the quota of 20 appearances as a starter out of 39 seasonal appearances.

However, even with more opportunities on the field, Asllani failed to impose himself and for this reason, Inter are considering selling the former Empoli player.
