Bayern win Bundesliga for tenth time in a row, Muller sets record

Bayern Munich secured their 10th consecutive Bundesliga title after a 3–1 win in der Klassiker over second-place Borussia Dortmund.

Julian Nagelsmann's side have once again dominated local rivals this season and this victory deepened the 12-point lead with three games remaining.

Serge Gnabry opened the score before Robert Lehando-ski doubled it in the first half. Emre Can's second-half penalty returned dortmund to the game, but Jamal Musiala quickly slashed hopes on bayern's third goal.

The win and title comes at a time when Nagelsmann has said he has been subjected to death threats online following villarreal's surprise elimination of his Side in the Champions League.

As for statistics, Thomas Muller set a Bundesliga record, becoming the first player to win 11 championships. However, Lewandowski has been instrumental in achieving 33 goals, having found the net 41 times last season, a Bundesliga record.

His future remains uncertain with his contract expires in 2023 and Dortmund could also be set for a significant change to their attacking line, with Erling Haaland close to a move to Manchester City.

The 21-year-old has scored 18 league goals in 21 Bundesliga games this season and his possible departure could be key in Dortmund's hopes of reducing the gap with their rivals next season.
