The 13-year-old Albanian, Kler Çaku, has been declared the European champion in chess at the Rapid Championship, in Slovenia, for girls up to the age of 14.
Prime Minister Edi Rama congratulated the Albanian athlete through a post on Facebook.
"CONGRATULATIONS CHAMPION, KLER ÇAKU, the 13-year-old Albanian is declared EUROPEAN CHAMPION in chess, in the Rapid Championship, in Slovenia, for girls up to the age of 14," writes Rama on Facebook.
