While the majority has started the process for the election of the new President of the Republic, the opposition views this process as a farce.

In a reaction on Facebook, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha considers this process a farce, "according to the rules of the mafia to capture from Rama the last state institution".

According to him, Rama wants to negotiate with Basha's opposition, because the real opposition would never take part in a vulgar, ridiculous and mafia farce with which Edi Rama will exercise absolute power in Albania.

3- Negotiations with the appointed opposition or Basho-opposition after it is clear that the real opposition would never take part in a vulgar, ridiculous and mafia farce with which Edi Rama will exercise absolute power in Albania.

I condemn with the utmost severity this farce process, with which Edi Rama after robbing the mandates in the elections of April 25, 2021 is desecrating the institution of the President of the Republic and with usurious mandates is usurping it.
