Edi Rama, this time in the costume of the chairman of the Socialist Party has held a meeting with the coordinating council of the SP of the Tirana Region.

Rama has asked the party structures to commit to win the local elections of 2023. Rama stressed that Tirana is the main district and the work should be greater, but also in other districts he expressed the desire to have as much as possible victory. Rama said that although they do not have an opposition to challenge them, the socialists should give motivation to themselves.

"Next year we have local elections. Unfortunately it has become more common for us to have over our heads extraordinary things that we do not choose for ourselves, but that actually happened and we have to deal with; earthquake, pandemic now this other situation that is not known how long it lasts. Meanwhile the elections are there again and we have to make them and we have to win them. Of course to win the election we need to not only repeat everything right we have known to do so far, but go further.

To keep trying to do what we have always tried to do. We are in a situation where we do not have an opposition that challenges and motivates you to go in these directions, we have to do it ourselves and we have to do it by seeing what are the things that have not worked properly.

Tirana is an extraordinary challenge for 1001 reasons and for 1001 problems of daily life that are the problems of a very wide community and we need that for this reason in Tirana and everywhere else we have a party that has people to increase the communication capacity of the SP in the territory. What is missing and that we need to look at very carefully is the communication energy of organizations. The energy will be given by the party leadership in the territory, in the municipality, in the municipal unit ", Rama emphasized.
