As we are a few days away from the elections for the new leader of the Democratic Party, the Commission for Organization and Control of Electoral Operations in the Democratic Party has uncovered the contents of the ballot paper.

According to the announcement of the Re-establishment Commission, the first on the ballot is the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and the second his rival Ibsen Elezi.

Approval of the ballot paper for DP chairman. The Commission for the Organization and Control of Electoral Operations announces that in the meeting of 16.05.2022, at 11.30, the lot was drawn for the ranking of the candidates on the ballot, in the presence of their representatives. After the draw, the order of the names on the ballot paper is:

1. Sali Berisha
2. Ibsen Elezi

The date of May 22 for the election of the new chairman of the Democratic Party was set by the Assembly on April 30, while it seems that they will take place at a time when the court has not yet said the last word on who belongs to the leadership of the blue headquarters.
