By-elections/ DP formalizes the NAMES of candidates

The Democratic Party has designated this Friday the names of the independent candidates it will support in the by-elections expected to take place in 6 municipalities.

If elections in Mat, Cërrik, Berat, Tepelena and Vlora will be held on November 9, as decreed by President Bajram Begaj, it is still unknown when the elections for Tirana will be held, as the Constitutional Court has suspended the president's decree following an appeal by Erion Veliaj, who opposes his dismissal from office as mayor.

Candidates supported by the DP:

Florjan Binaj – Tirana

Gabriel Guma – Tepelena

Dionis Sota – Vlora

Eduart Brahlika – Mat

Amarildo Hoxha – Cërrik

Pavlo Shkarpa – Berat

The names of these candidates have also been announced in the branches of the Democratic Party.
