The Special Court has set a security measure for the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, in the framework of the investigations launched by the Special Prosecutor's Office regarding the privatization of the "Partizani" sports complex.

For Berisha, the security measure "obligation to appear" and "exit ban outside the country" has been set.

It is learned that Berisha was not given another stronger measure, that of prison arrest, due to his age.

Sali Berisha is 79 years old.

SPAK has started investigations on this issue after a report made by Taulant Balla in 2020, then the chairman of the socialist parliamentary group.
