The chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party, Bledi Çuçi, has declared that they will vote for the removal of the immunity of the chief democrat Sali Berisha.
Çuçi said that they have not discussed the mandate of their deputies for this part, not Berisha's.
"Without question, our position is firm on this point. We have not discussed the mandate of our colleagues when SPAK requests such a thing in the parliament. We will vote in favor of SPAK's request. We are fully exercising the sovereignty that the citizens have delegated to us and we will continue to exercise it. It is ridiculous to think that Bardhi will come to vote for the removal of Berisha's immunity," said Çuçi.
Speaking about Arben Ahmetaj's mandate, Çuçi said that the group will make a decision about him very soon.
"Ben Ahmetaj is not in Albania, it is a matter of justice. Very soon the decision will be made by the group," said Çuçi.
As for the new regulation of the Assembly, Çuçi said that if the deputies light a fire in the Assembly, they will be expelled for 60 days.
"If 23 opposition MPs set fire to the Parliament, they will be excluded for 60 days. We had a meeting of the Regulation Council, they did not come", said Çuçi.
