The Commission for Organization and Monitoring of Electoral Operations in the Democratic Party has reacted after the incidents that occurred in the process for the election of the head of the Malësia e Madhe branch.

There one of the candidates broke the ballot box accusing that people who were not members of the DP were voting.

DP says that the Commission has been made aware of these serious events and has decided to cancel the elections in this branch.

"The commission is in the process of collecting and verifying all the facts and events that led to the disruption of the voting process, which will be expressed in an official decision.

The Commission estimates that the integrity, transparency and free vote of the members is primary in this important process of re-establishing the Democratic Party ", it is said in the announcement of PD.
